To provide financial support for the professional development, training and networking of students seeking a career in the club management industry.
The National Capital Club Managers Association will award one scholarship annually, based on the availability of funds and merit of applications. In order to help recipients further their professional development as students, who have an intended career path in club management, the scholarship will fund $1,000 to be applied toward registration costs to any NCCMA Board-approved continuing education program (not just CMAA-related) and reimbursable expenses directly related to travel, lodging, etc.
The scholarship will be granted based on recommendations made by the NCCMA Scholarship Committee and approved by the NCCMA Board of Directors.
Who Should Apply
The scholarship is open to any student who has completed, at minimum, one internship at a Club and is a student of an accredited university hospitality program within Virginia, Maryland or Washington, DC.
